Good Morning,
January was a fairly quiet month for us. It was gloomy grey and rainy for the first few weeks. Recently we have had some beautiful near perfect weather. If it was like this all the time here it would be fabulous. But since the heat is not far away we try to get outside on these rare days and enjoy them. Unfortunately Quinton has been sick for about a week now. It started with a virus which turned into an infection and ear infection. Carter is now sick too. I took them both to the doctor yesterday and now that Quinton is on antibiotics he seems a lot better today. He ate his break fast for the first time in about a week. Carter doesn't have an infection but still has a bit of a fever today I'm hoping he can go back to school tomorrow.
Carter and Michael glued a 100 googly eyes on a shirt for the 100 th day of school. The kindergartners were to decorate a t shirt with 100 items then on Monday they had a parade at school. Sadly Carter missed it and it turns out his good friend was wearing the same shirt (I think he got the idea from Carter specially since his shirt was also green).
Some neighbors put on a Mardi Gras picnic again this year. Michael took Carter and Georgia. Georgia is in a very active Girl Scout troop this year. On Saturday Carter and Georgia had swim lessons in the morning which Michael had to get through a marathon to get to. They rushed home had lunch than Georgia was off to the Health Museum with her troop. We decorated Carters bike for the Mardi Gras picnic as the kids do a parade. Michael and Carter went to the picnic, Michael left Carter with friends ran and picked up Georgia and went to the picnic again. Michael spent Sunday at the zoo with the kids since the weather was wonderful than he ran some chores and went to the gym. I stayed at home with Quinton. So busy as usual. Michael's new job is keeping him very busy. He may have to go to Malta next week.
