April was a busy month. It has been a record cool spring which has been nice. Only thing was a bit cool for the water slide we rented on Saturday for Quinton's Birthday. But the kids persevered. Michael took Georgia to a Girl Scout Father Daughter Mardi Gras Masquerade. We also attended a members event for the Houston Zoo called Zoobilee. Zoobilee turned out to be lots of fun and couldn't of had better weather. Lots of activities set up as stations for the kids around the zoo also the animals were being very active. Also in April one of our neighbors turned 50 so his family put on a big party with a Craw-fish Boil and DJ at their house, which Michael and I attended. Our next door neighbor and her twin brother's family hosted a Birthday party for them at her house as well. For that the whole family was invited and they had a burger bus come to their house, tents and tables set up in the front yard as well as a small jumpy castle for toddlers and in the back yard more tables and a large jumpy castle for the big kids. Michael and I decided to go old school for Quinton's party and BBQ ourselves set up tables and chairs we have and play our own music, everyone seemed to have a good time.
