Hello just a quick update. Last Friday the schools were closed due to winter weather. It was cold and we had freezing rain over night which coated things with a layer of ice. The main concern was driving conditions on the freeways (and there were several accidents). The schools were closed again today. It has been cold all day and we had some freezing rain and it actually snowed late this morning for 2 minutes. The kids were excited and ran outside. Most of the kids in the neighborhood were running around too. There also seems to be some ducks wandering around during these cold days. Strangely on the weekend it warmed up and it was gorgeous weather on Sunday so we went to the zoo. Hazel came home on Sunday, she is still getting used to her new home.
